To be fair to African-Americans, the old time state legislatures enacted a lot of prejudicial laws, and it was the Warren Court that struck them down. The pendulum has swung too far the other way, now. I agree with you, though, it's time for a good Constitutional crisis. But whether it is or it isn't, looks like we are gonna get one, like it or not.>> Our problem is that we mistook the court for God. Today I purchased "King: The Photobiography of Martin Luther King" at Barnes and Nobel. And I spent time with a black man who sells newspapers. Drove him to Chicago. Took him out to lunch with some colleagues. We prayed for Jesse Jackson - actually went in to partnership to help/serve and support Jesse Jackson. He's going to start a church in Gary, IN. There were jobs, opportunities, prayer and an general powerful annointing that comes with random spiritual energy. None of us can plan, organize or structure FREEDOM. We simply have to live it in the flow of the timeless present moment. Any attempt by man to say NO!! only backfires. For the spirit of life, truth, energy, light and love only knows GO!! NOW!! Total, unconditional compassion. Total, unconditional forgiveness. Total, unconditional courage. Total, unconditional love. ALWAY ON! NEVER OFF! REAL parades don't form in the front. They form in the back and all those who join join in the front. The last shall be first. I Have A Dream..... Minor details. And the dream is still alive. Two words...... Peace. GO!!
