give me some concern too - I'd hate to see another LHSP, but I also feel that these folks have a much more solid track record than that POS.

yep thats a worry for me - especially given that "eventually" the quiet period on insider sales has to end - there could be huge dilution at that time ?

so is there investor interest here?

One indicator may/not be to see if the PKI companies like Entrust, Verisign etc have any interest /pre-allocated shares. Would the prospectus (I suspect a more detailed doc than we've seen on ipo.com etc) have to reveal that ?

I went to G+'s web site & had a look at the first few pages of the annual report :
gemplus.com

says :
- group net income FRF 218M in 1999. FRF 161M in 1998.
- Net diluted income/share : FRF 33.07 in 1999. FRF 25.24 in 1998
