Paul ... of course the question is ... would the futures be up if we were going to rally ?!?. Beats me !! I saw some paint taping at end of day for some issues aswell fwiw ... but ... overall ... 'they' seem to be holding up some stocks whilst selling into the strength ... look at SONS today ... FNSR was blatant tape painting ... they boosted it over a point at the death , then stuck 100 share buy a point over that in afterhours .. LOL. INCA was consistently inside the bid and selling as much SUNW afterhours as the retail investor would buy .... it should be an interesting day tomorrow .... I assume there's still some margin call & tax loss selling ... but then there's also options and month/year-end dessing-up to consider. I must check max-pain tonight !!! If I get time I'll post some of the more interesting ones tomorrow ....

I still doubt we go very far without the bigger money ... but at least the heavy selling seems to have abated .. (anyone watch the trin today ... sheesh it was bad ...but fortunately the tick wasn't).

Good luck !! ... I'm off to Disneyland for a few days ... so I wouldn't mind the market vascillating up & down whilst I'm away ... if you could arrange that please Paul...

Regards

Stephen

pretty soon some clowns are going to get a first hand jobs report -- in pink ... the market can rally for a few more times on slower job growth before the jig is up and folks realize that fewer jobs can be bad news, too
