Thank you I have Easy CD Creator. I apparently neeed to read the instructions since the CD I created using it had the files as MP3 on it too. I do not have Easy CD Creator Plus but apparently that is not needed.

"You can record MP3 files as standard audio tracks onto an audio CD using Roxio's Easy CD Creator 4 or CD Spin Doctor. Then you'll be able to play the music back in virtually any compact disc player, including those in your home or car stereo. There is no need to manually decode the MP3 files to the correct format; the software takes care of that for you."
