TG, Many of us in the middle don't vote because we feel we have no voice and this has given much power to both minority extremes. My attitude is that no matter who runs the government, the best way I can get ahead is to bust my ass and work real hard. I understand that we're overtaxed these days, but getting an extra $1000 a year isn't going to make that much of a difference in my overall quality of life. In order to have that happen, we'd need to radically overhaul the entire tax and entitlement structure in this country and that ain't gonna happen with either party. So what's left is that it's up to me...no one else. FWIW, Dave
