I read it years ago.

I have tried to hire some of the homeless. The ones that are down on their luck grasp an opportunity the others (majority) want the hand out but not the job.

Won't even give the drug addict bit my time.

The person who wrote that soliloquy appears to be wounded, maybe even bitter.

I thought it was funny as hell. It is amazing how people can twist comedy into what fits their agenda
