Thank you, Rudi. I think you and KLP can be valuable contributors. I wish I had taken a propaganda course in college. Hopefully, every journalism student is required to do so.

Hi R~~ We took major 10 US newspapers in the classroom on a daily basis, plus each student subscribed to another one at home. Each day, we had to be prepared to discuss the top headline, and the contents of our own papers in class. Each day, we took the major top story and the attendant headline in each paper, and read each article outloud in class. We quickly learned to discern bias and slant!

I said before, the teacher made us very aware that if a persons name was on the article, it was an "opinion only" and NOT news.... Unfortunately, most people today don't know that...

The teacher was just excellent, and we were excited to learn, and to share. She was tough, too....I usually had A's, but in her class, I EARNED a B and then a B+ and it was the toughest grade I EVER EARNED!
