Yes, I've seen a couple of Chronicle articles about the Rice radio situation but haven't noticed deejay CW's name in print. I'll stay tuned ....

Every generation of college students seems to have conflicts with university officials. In my time ('61-'65), it was the now-quaint annual panty raid.

Tsk tsk. The errors of youth. CW has much to learn about being an insurgent.
You don't directly attack the authorities you seek to torment. That gets you caught. Unless your goal is to get caught.

Houston Chronicle, Friday Dec 8

"Deal puts DJs back on air at Rice today"

Looks like someone negotiated a settlement.

Was your guy playing music over the women's basketball broadcast?

KTRU- Rice Rambi

Personalized bumper stickers ... what will they think of next?

Went back and read a couple of the radio articles. Dare I ask what ska music is? Something tells me it's not exactly The Lettermen.

Have you read anything in the news about the shutting down of Rice's student-run
radio station, KTRU?

No. And their web page doesn't mention it.
