Feel sorry for Intel, who actually tried to
implement a more functional operating system
down under WinDos.

Could have been really tough stuff if it would
have been approved of by Billy boy.

DSP and realtime standardized functions in the 586 could have
made or broken the game at this point in history,
but now we just have to plug, pray and wait for
another mobile messiah. (us old guys remember the days
of make and break, even bipolar relays in telecom,
clicking kind of CDMA and FDMA codes, 8-16 and 32
bit variations, lousy memory management and don't
lift the hood or test the IRQs)

Ilmarinen

I wonder how the latest download is going in the kitchen,
will it recover from a couple of problems or just crash
the whole hard disk and registry, hard stuff to live with??
(nothing like the IOMEGA stuff, champions of "blew it all")
