That was very beautiful, Mars.

Starry Starry Night has always been much more than a painting to me too.

The mamba, one of the more deadly snakes, I believe, hangs out above a game trail, dropping down and biting just about anything that comes by. It's like they have attitude. They're not going to eat ya, just kill you.

Better start looking up. Hunt birds? Look up! If you can get them in the air, so much the better. Smart things look up. Birds. People. Even dolphins and whales. Lots of things are imbued with the spirit of "God" and a curiosity of "what is up there" if you look.

Then then there is that spider in Australia, not too poisonous -- except to primates, in which case, it is frequently fatal. There are no primates on the Australian continent (except humans who came there 20 to 40k years ago). Why on earth would they be toxic to us? Well, maybe there were primates on Australia but they died out. No fossils of any that I know of.

Weird stuff. Doesn't make a lick of sense. That's why I say the Cosmic Force seems to have an odd sense of humor. Weird stuff everywhere. The ability of some parasite to find it's host (sometimes through as many as 6 intermediates or more). How the heck did that get selected for?

it is so easy to get lost in the night sky........

in the mountains, when you stretch out your hand, star light dances upon it

mesmerizing

spellbinding

if there is a god, you could find him there

sigh.........
