Reading through the post of late, it's an understatement to say many are disappointed by the lack of stock appreciation,MVSN and TTRE even with the verification showing greater than expected results. I too would like to see higher valuations. The truth remains however, MVSN/TTRE does have a disruptive technology that has a ready market waiting in the wings. As I stated in an earlier post, the powers that be will not simply lie down and allow this " TTR little company" to take over without opposition.
I think we get too focused on the current stock price and fail to acknowledge the factors that make a company command billion dollar valuations. We were all spoiled by the dot-com revolution. We were led to believe all a company needed was a great idea and some venture capital and off to the races we go. The almost year long depreciation in the technology sector has sobered many. No tech company has been exempt. The reality, IMO is that TTRE will warrant billion dollar valuations, but only after it has proven itself the old fashioned way, by "earning it." Revenues and earnings are what the market rewards. Sure there are exceptions to this rule. Of late however, even these darlings are having to pay the piper. With blue chip companies getting hammered for missing earnings expectations by even a penny,or even biting expectations by tow penny ( MVSN )how can we realistically expect otherwise with no revenue or earnings.
So, IMO we wait, continue to build for the future, realizing the current stock price has no bearing on the future value of our investment. The day will come when our industry affiliations, revenue growth, and earnings will propel our stock price. Then everyone will want to jump on the bandwagon and those of us who hung around when times were tough and no one else believed will sit back with a quiet smile and say "I knew it all along."
