Re: "From the start I wanted one solid manual recount of every county in Florida. But Bush and the Repubs said no twice to Al Gore's call of a recount of the entire state"

Face it, asking Bush was nothing, Gore's real world actions speak louder than his words. Face it, the winner never asks for a re-count. FACE IT, it was Gore's onus to ask the system for a fair statewide count just as soon as it was clear the system didn't provide for it, or ask for NOTHING MORE. Face it, he'd stand tall now if he ever had.

Face it, his lawyers have been in court delineating the law they think ALLOWS him to seek and get further territorial advantage never really intended in law.

His lawyers in court recently have been reduced to forthrightly describing all the reasons NOT to COUNT ALL THE VOTES!!!!!! I know damn well you've heard their plain words in this regard. I have, over and over. When they get out of the courthouse on the steps...they'll sometimes but not always, switch and claim "we seek only to count all the votes." But it's a different story inside the courthouse.

This is so plain. And he's losing the public relations war because of it, IMO.

Goodnight all, for real this time.

You are then admitting that you are conceding the election to Bush and that your strategy is to simply stall the election just long enough with your barrage of frivolous lawsuits to FORCE the Republican majority Florida Legislature to select its own slate of electors? This will give you propaganda for the next battle in two years for the Senate election.

I can see the banners now!!!

You are becoming too transparent.
