Hey Raymond,

American Canyon will be our first, and will not include electricity, We will use the ethernet connection to deliver IP video streams as well as the voice and data. Cisco is currently the main supplier but EXTR has a box in there also and it kicks cisco's 6509 by far.

We have a demonstration facility in Irvine with the system up and running but I'd rather not get too deep into it until we are delivering service. Folks here know more about the technology than myself as we have plenty of engineers working on the project.

There is a great shortage of housing and we will see how we stack up against Pac Bell and AT&T who will be in the community as well. We have yet see how the developer goes about his pricing.

PG&E and Edison crafted the deregulation and they should be held accountable. We might have a press release next week with our IP broadcasting company which is privately held but Intel is a big backer, www.minervanetworks.com

I must say Alcatel has a great voice solution, but we will know more once we are really providing service as this won't start until March and we have some hurdles before that time.

btw, I think winfirst is delivering an Avaya solution with fiber to the curb and a wireless connection to the home with Lucent developing a proprietary box to make it work.
