To me, Duke, your asking the 'wrong' question! How HIGH can it go, is better! When companies come out and say the future is bleak and it will take a couple quarters (at best) to turn it around...And most agree that there is a saturation issue in what they sell...and the world economies are slowing down...I prefer to stay away because the stock price is not going much HIGHER from here (near term). A company like GLW says they have orders through September next year. Can they avoid a slowing economy? Maybe not, but at least they have one strong positive...their business is very strong right now. This is true of several other growth companies. Thus I don't 'bottom fish' in companies that shouldn't fall much further, I buy companies that can move up substantially from here. Ps. Many companies trade below book value. Appl could go down another 25% or more. Good luck. Steve D.
