Do you or does anyone believe Nokia would buy Lucent? I hope not. I've talked with a woman who worked for Lucent on several occasions. She informed me that the management at Lucent is behind the times. Since LU's has problems with earning expectations on a regular basis, I think I would agree that Lucent has problems.

From looking at the news board on Yahoo, I understand LU has to lay off quite a number of people.

In general, does Nokia tend to take over troubled companies?

Best Wishes,

Mephisto
