He liked Bob, but he wasn't afraid to point out when Bob was wrong. Tom Swyers, was dead set on proving Don Lane was indeed Bob. Even Truman was intrigued by Tom's detailed analysis of his case. Message 1501680 Mysteriously, after proving his case, Tom became the target of attack from Truman and Don Lane. A few months later Tom Swyers disappeared for a while. He later returned as none other than the spinnin' stiff and had all his previous postings edited to show his new pseudonym. Tom must have recieved similar PM's to back off and get on board the train.
