Great news. I just got fired. Heading over to unemployment office as i post this in wireless mode.

Actually it is good news. Earlier I heard the words oil surplus as well. Greenspan in the mix. Retailers slashing prices for Christmas on everything including pc's. We may even have a president-elect by end of business today. My hope is that this unsettling period will turn out to be the recession that never was which follows the inflation that never was. Add "slashing prices" and oil surplus and you end up with deflation going forward. Markets tanking and shoppers sitting on their hands have added a dose of reality to the situation. This is not the 1970's and stagflation as some of the oldage bears see it. The essential robusticity(new word) of this tech based economy will win out and it will happen sooner than most folks think.
