AMD went from 500 MHz to 1 gig (i.e 100% MHz increment)in less than 1 year...No doubt they've not been sitting on their hands since April...In fact, it's not unlikely that they could be looking at another 100% MHz increment to 2 gigs by end of summer Y2001...These palomino rumours would seem to support the notion that AMD has indeed been busy since last April...
