By the way, I was elected (actually drafted) to serve a three-year term on the executive board last night during our annual union brotherhood-sisterhood Christmas dinner. So I guess that I'm officially now a "union boss." Ha ha ha ha. Democrats all across the country have been buoyed by how labor answered the bell on Nov. 7. The Republicans certainly can look to what the UAW did on 11-7 for a "how-to" on getting out the vote. And we're only going to get better.
