Both were tough cases to prove self defense. In the first the wife emptied her husband's gun into him and the bullets exited his body into the mattress. The second the wife had tossed the guy out of the house. He was sleeping in his car with his head against the window. She put the muzzle of a 12 gauge shotgun against the window and emptied it. She was reloading when the police arrived. When they grabbed the gun a knife fell out of her belt. High price to pay for getting a little on the side.
