Your experience defies the greater reality. Jeep is - and has been - a lousy product quality-wise - especially their new Grand Cherokee - and Acuras are - and have been - considered one the best according to industry stats on consumer experience. And Jeep is having a hard time effectively giving them away - remember Daimler's recent troubles stem from subsidizing Jeep leases at BELOW COST. Still, I'm glad you found the rare pony while others got the manure. Still, you have enormous depreciation to contend with, not so much a problem with better made Acuras.
