Ron ....

I'm so very sorry to hear of your dad.

I was due to read the scripture at Mass at noon today as it is a Holy Day....
but I needed to go to Rotary cause I'd missed the past two weeks on trips down to Central Texas to see about Marilyn's mom.....
we buried her last Friday ...

You, your dad, and the rest of the family will have some candles lit late this afternoon as I'm to sing in the choir at late Mass .....

again ...
our prayers are with you ....

Peace

Tony

Ron my heart and prayers are with your father in this time of trouble. I would just offer advice to be sure of top vascular surgeon. I rushed into surgery the same way and Doctor made mistakes and accidentally punctured my colon.

The aortic surgery was no problem in resection. The colon puncture caused lung failure, kidney failure, gangrene, colostomy, loss of both legs and coma for 2 months. Pulled the plug for me to die and I came to and slowly got well.

I have had many friends of age have the same operation and back up like new in a couple of months. Try your best to keep people visiting from comments on condition. Patients drugged can still hear those comments. I know from experience.

If your dad's aneurysm hasn't grown to other organs he has real good chance of survival and fast recovery even at 83.
As you have many friends and lurkers like me I'm sure you will have many prayers to assist.
