In the case of religion, the more fundamental the belief, the less discretion is available for the inclusion of new and different ideas.

What possible allowance is made for polyester/cotton blends and mules, Solon? It is prohibited. Period. It doesn't say avoid or try not to. It is a decree. Of the Lord. Right there after the other commandments in Leviticus 19.

I have never seen an altar being used in the way prescribed in Leviticus. This stuff all sounds so pagan to me. God's new style of worship is so different than his old style. He used to like the smell of burning fat and kidneys and to have people wring the necks of doves, throwing their entrails around. Sitting in church with an occassional Haleluia or Praise Be! seems kinda weak in comparison.
