Exactly the course of events needed so that that portion of voters in the middle can see what a Gore presidency would entail. The lowly 30% who would vote for him even as a convicted self-confessed mass murderer can now have their martyr.

Instead those of us who were fortunate to buy the blue light specials ought to send him a thank you note, and also send a check for Bush's legal expenses. Those who had margin trouble should have sold back in September, so have no reason to blame anyone but themselves. The shorts better cover their a$$es now, and contribute their ill gotten gains to Gore's legal expenses.

if the shoe were on the other foot the process would be identical - Bush already said this morning that if the court decisions did not go his way he would appeal.
