Dear e-Bill: I think Land Rovers are fine but again they are too large and dont have the angle of entry and departure necessary to scale large rocks etc. Plus, they are so damn expensive who would want to take one seriously off road? To be honest, IMHO they best offroad vehicle besides Jeep is the Toyota Land Cruiser, but its expensive also. JDN

I have a Landrover Discovery - It does great off road but overall I think the car stinks. Engineering is bad. Things just don't fit right. Give me German engineering any day. I love my Audi and the one before it.
