How about President Bush nominating all three to the US SC?

I think most of us are relieved the election is now over - regardless of our political persuasion. That we have a winner is reason to say "Good Fight. Well Done. Let's move forward with respect. We have a country to nurture." It is not a reason to say whomever's opponent is a tortured wuss.

On another note - I see an irony in George Bush's prolonged Florida battle alienating enough of the Floridian electorate that I predict Jeb Bush will lose anything he runs for in that state, including reelection.

Put another way: Both Al Gore and Jeb Bush's political careers are over.

My faith in Florida's judicial system might be restored. It's been pretty shaky going.

Now, if they can repair their election system... Of course, it's probably no worse than most states. They just happened to be the swing state, so got placed under the microscope. Next time it could be anybody. Hopefully a lesson to election officials all over the country.
