I don't think Nikki Clark's intelligence was in question. What was in question was her perceived political views and would she put them aside to do the right thing because it was the right thing to do. She proved that she could. Add my salute to her.

The case was a frivolous case. Gore was seeking permission to gauge the "intent" of voters elsewhere. I couldn't imagine disqualifying votes that showed clear intent without voter fraud. Ms. Clark agreed.

Another OT - My parents wouldn't vote a Republican into the Presidential office if you placed a gun to their head. I wouldn't vote a Democrat into the White House if you placed a gun to mine. Just because Ms. Clark's sister helped in the Bush campaign, it doesn't mean Ms. Clark's political views are similar.
