I disagree with you on that because - SAP is like number one or two in the business and they are sucking sea water also all the chip and computer makers are sucking sea water due to the slow down. If the box makers are slowing down then the software suppliers will obviously slow down so at the end of the day the only mistake I can see that Bergeron made was he did not see the slow down coming and lasting for a long time. I never thought it would continue this long but then again I'm not the CEO.

The way I see it if Geac didn't have the nice maintenance revs they could be in serious trouble. If push comes to shove and they don't get a fair offer and sales continue to slid then they could always cut staff again and keep the maintenace guys around to survive. If by chance they lose maintenance contracts to competitors my bet is that the competitor will take them out so at the end of the day who ever takes out Geac will get a nice customer base and if and when sales pick up that company should clean up.

The way I'm playing it now is that I'm holding a small position in Geac hoping for a take over which at this point looks very slim but hey I like to gamble. If they do get taken out I definite will be looking to invest in that company who get them.
