Uncertainty has returned in full force. America's Free Vote was the world standard. Because of this botched election, and for the first time in recent memory, the worlds view of us has changed. We hold a vote, then political factors are allowed to influence the counting of the vote. With each week that passes, America is being seen in a crises condition. Now it appears that we may not know who our president is before the end of the year. Bush must have sufficient time to file his appeals to the Florida Supreme Court and/or to the U.S. Supreme Court. . . then what? Gore will appeal the appeal?

Either way. . . the next President of the United States is saying in essence, "I don't believe, nor do I respect the decisions of the Florida County Courts, the Secretary of State of Florida or the Florida Supreme Court . . . perhaps even the U.S. Supreme Court. . . and by appealing the decisions of these officials, I hold the entire U.S. judicial system, as well as the electoral process in contempt."

We could sure use some strong news from the FED next week.

Much can be gleaned from this latest portfolio. It is only several days old, yet certain truths are clearly evident. . .

1. Broadband opticals are outpacing most other sectors. . .

2. Genome biotechs are much hotter than anyone had predicted. . .

3. Web Hosts / Hotels / Internet Infrastructure WAS predicted to be hot and it is on fire.

4. Highest-growth stocks = highest percentage gains during market rebounds. . . .

5. Older fatter techs are still the laggards they were before. . .

6. Sleepers will be sleepers.

7. I like the way the Holders provide an anchor of stability to the port, and feel it was a good move to include them.

. . . and there are few more surprises that I will leave for you all to discover.

Enjoy!
