Jjet, again we are reminded why "Flat is Smart", or at least balance shorting of the weaklings that ran up with a few quality longs. But to bet ONLY on one end of the curve sure seems unwise. The people on this thread are smarter than that but most I bet went long at the close. For most this logic is probably best ... Why hold anything overnight, over-the-weekend, when you can make money during the trading day with more minimal risk? In this market it is an unnecessary risk, it seems to me. It won't always be that way, but it sure is now. Heck, I'm not even sure if this will be that big a deal to the Market on Monday by itself, but if there is again warnings, it sure could create a combined negative "El Tanko" effect. This is unchartered territory.
