They have to use the SAME people, or the standards will have changed. In fact, just by virtue of the temporal and circumstance change, the same people might apply different standards. Additionally, by requiring the undervotes in unchallenged and certified counties be looked at at all, the counting standards will have been changed, per se, because the prior, unchallenged standards, were machine standards. If there is one single new vote found, the rules will have changed, putting the FL Supremes' decision in violation of the federal statute, AGAIN. What a frickin' mess. Those four FL Supremes have been out in the sun too long, imho. I'm going to read the dissent, first, which I have a feeling will be a he**uva lot better reasoned than the majority opinion.

The 11th Circuit case doesn't ripen so long as Bush is still the certified winner, from my recollection.
