In subjective counts it's hard to weed out what the truth is.

Part of me has been wondering what would happen if the system were pushed to its very limits. I guess we're going to have the privilege of finding out.

we will know who got the most votes.

And we will get input and discussion from congress on this election. In this most political of events it is important that each Senator and Congressman get the "opportunity" to put their views and votes on the line.

I have no objection to knowing the "truth" (though I believe it to be entirely elusive and illusory at this point regardless of what is ordered), but the court's unwillingness to address the standard set for recounting will always leave a huge question mark in the minds of many. If they're going to rewrite law and ask for a state recount, (which incidentally, surely doesn't mean that MiamiDade will hand in only a partial but will have to complete their count) then why don't they set a definite standard that allows us to know what will and won't be allowed. Broward standards? PB standards? THey are just going to leave 1/2 the voters sure that they were cheated.
