Probably getting their short positions in place on their laptops so they can make a killing on Monday. This whole thing is a fiasco. The state legislature should just vote the electors to Bush and throw Gore out with the bath water!! DB

I wonder if they are in tune with the markets or not. Perhaps there IS some financial reason not to rule until after the markets close.

My guess is that the US Supreme Court will spank Florida again, but that Gore will come up with the votes in the meantime. The Fla. Legislature will also give Bush the nod. Gore will then be empowered by having "more votes", even though history will have to judge if pimples and dimples, not previously considered "votes" are indeed votes.

Bush will probably end up as Prez although his legitamcy will be forever questioned if Gore has more "votes".

The Electoral College does not VOTE until a week from Monday. Perhaps the Gore forces will somehow prevail on public opinion in the meantime. ANYTHING can happen here, but this is interesting!
