James I am betting on fairness and reason - IMHO it will end up as a Gore win, he leads with over 300,000 votes nation wide and from the TV networks in Europe and Asia they prefer Gore. Only ME prefers Bush.

Short term it is all upside down, personally the more delay tactics Bush mounts the lower the dollar goes and with it the market.

As to corporate hardship under Gore it is a myth IMHO as industry is stronger than any administration and for sure in such a even split congress.

It is more about the flavor of the presidency than about ruling. I prefer a median intelligent man instead of an outright idiot as president.

Until now I believed Clinton is the most corrupt president of modern times but as it plays out Bush and his family engaged in outright common sense election fraud, tainting the integrity of the Republican party.
