Right on Ellen!

The Bush crowd thought they'd be able to cow the FSC by pushing up against the "deadline" for certifying the electors. Now, the Bush team is in hyperdrive to get an injunction from the USSC because they know that once the re-count starts, there is nothing that will stop it.

The Gore supporters are not afraid of the recount. As much as it may amaze W's friends on this board, we are ready to accept him, if--and it's a big if--he won. We are not trying to "win at any cost". If we were, Al wouldn't have offered his initial concession before he understood how close the race really is. We even agree that there should be solid standards regarding which undercounted votes are in and which are out. We just want to see the votes that got rejected by machines to be looked at by professional human beings. Despite what the Gov's suppporters may think, most Gore supporters don't want to see Al come into office as an illegitimate president.

Ellen - I suggest you learn how to read

"> It doesn't matter - the FSC jsut said DON'T Recount the Cuban / Hispanic district - ONLY recount the 9000 no-votes AND Count the votes found ONLY in the Democratic precincts already counted
COMPLETELY UNCONSTITUTIONAL <

So much misinformation out there!

That is not the ruling. Look before you leap...

-----------
that indeed is the ruling. the court added 168 votes in Miami-Dade to gore. these 168 came from the partial full Miami Dade recount before the recount was stopped. they went in numerical precinct order - and thus included only Democratic precincts since they were the low number ones.

Thats a fact - undisputed

the partial full recount did NOT include the cuban / hispanic precincts or other Republican precincts.

under this ruling - they will never be counted
