I got lucky today. Lately I've been forcing myself into taking profits gradually as the market goes higher and then waiting for a pull back. This has always been one of my weak points. Today my calls were doing great. I forced myself to take profits on PMCS and CRA and EXTR. I put high asking prices, hoping for a late rally, then I had to leave the office for the rest of the day. Luckily PMCS and CRA were sold near the high, but EXTR didn't get back to the level it had been so I still hold them. Shortly after, the Gore news came out. I see after hours the market is erasing much of today's gains. Now I have some cash to buy on the dip Monday. I'm still holding calls in GLW, JDSU, more CRA, and EXTR. These are all Jan Calls and will probably go back to where I bought them by Monday, after nearly doubling... I'm not angry that Gore got the recount. I'm more annoyed that this will slow down what appeared to be the beginning to a nice rally. Everything was lining up nicely. Oh well. At least I may be able to find some more opportunity. I find that I make more money off the bottom of the market. After that, nervousness sets in and I begin to make many more silly mistakes... Just ramblin'... -ClapOff
