isopatch,
What shall we call this mess?!(G)
After viewing island, perhaps we'll call it Black Monday, ggg! But I hope not!

I was a young man transitioning to adulthood during the 73-74 Bear and am often struck by the potential similarities this one is developing, yet it is still difficult to draw conclusions from such disparate times despite the nagging deja vu. Still that is the challenge put forth and one that will allow a proper sobriquet for these "interesting times" only after they are met with success.

One thing is sure and is the main stem of my efforts. I do not want to call these times "lost opportunity". Disturbing as the market environment is, I feel it is presenting the most marvelous speculative opportunity in a lifetime.

Hence while I may be bearish at times, the 4 year weekly OSX chart with the gorgeous Inverse H&S will remain on my wall, like some centerfold from younger days, to stir the animal spirits both bull and bear, with a different set of curves.

Below it is the chart showing a potential libidinous bottom in the XAU.

Certainly my tastes have become more complex since my youth, LOL!

Best Regards,

Roebear
