Makes me wonder if "clear intent" can be different in different counties in FL

The dissenting opinions dealt with that issue as well.

Chief Justice Wells basically believes that what the majority has done with its opinion is given the US Supreme Court or Congress reason to throw out Florida's election results under the US Constitution and Federal election laws.

I'm telling you, Chief Justice Wells wrote the Bush defense - all Bush has to do is refer to it.

You know who I think cringed the most when that decision was read? The justices sitting on the US Supreme Court who tried to pass this back to Florida and now know they will be the final arbitor...
