So we are just going to watch that smirking pipsqueak play chief executive.

That is a reasonably shallow comment.

Tommaso -if the Florida legislature elects new electorials (after the election) and are able to get away with that, it will probably go to US Congress.
The Republicans have the House, but, the senate is split 50-50. Then, the VP casts his vote. I think VP Gore won't mess this one up.
If he somehow can't vote, then it goes back to Florida for Jeb's(Bush) vote.
Gore hit a home run with 2 strikes and 2 outs in the 9th to tie the game. But, it is now Bush's turn at the bat.
Looks like the Speaker of the House may end up being acting president for awhile.

I think Gore is the better of 2 evils. George Bush scares me.

<<I am a Gore supporter but if the Florida legislature follows the US Constitution nobody is stealing anything from anyone. That's what the consititution says>>

On that basis I hope some democratic controlled state overrides their state voters as well.

That would be chaos wouldn't it?
Hell I am rooting for it is FL is stupid enough.

BTW.
The FL supreme court could "require" Bush to certify the dems and hold Jeb Bush in contempt if he does not.
We could end up with 2 certified sets of electors from florida.

It would then go to Congress.
WE all know what the House will do.
Gore could cast the deciding vote for himself in the senate!

Won't that be fun.
This would go back to Florida then for the final decision.
More fun.
With Supreme court holding Jeb Bush in Criminal contempt if he votes for his brother.

FUN FUN FUN.
