Indeed, Clappy! Recount hysteria resumes on ... Mod Porch ... in just a cursory scan of a few posts of what, 100+? in an hour there I see that, sure enough, the ugly slurs are once again showing up -- blatant racism, sexism, elder-ism (I don't know the term for that -- it's hatred or scorn for the elderly or anyone over the age of 40 -- OH, it's AGEISM! Is that it? (Homophobia will be next if it's not there already). Poster slamming Canadians -- getting very personal with that comment, IMO ... Now that there is a "Left Wing Porch," I find the contrast in personalities rather fascinating. Seems to me that the left wingers are much less inclined to "hate" other people. And are much more broad-minded. Tolerant. Do you see this? LOL. We may be boring. All of us. We are. Left and right, if you ask me <g> Glad you're posting what you really think about participating in this wild Cyberspace investing culture. That's as interesting to me as the people here and investing itself. Another observation: the fact that MONEY is the commonality here brings out the basest characteristics in most posters. Can't disguise the real person behind the alias. Those who post a lot, of course. The influence of money over our total being -- our essence as people -- fascinates me when I look at it objectively and dismays me when I view it subjectively.
