Unfortunately for me, my memory capacity runs to remembering exactly where the 15-watt screw-in flourescent bulbs that cost $4.99 in Big Lots are located. I could lead you to shelf blindfolded. But I can't even rattle off the roster of the Cubs, our favorite club. I can't explain it. Whereas my wife will come out with things like, "Well, when they traded him for so-and-so from the (whoever) he had two little boys and his wife had just had a bad automobile accident, so he thought he needed the extra money for a care taker, and then when he bgean to hit .359 they upped his salary and . . ." All I can keep straight is how many balls and strikes there are at any given moment.
