Hi Quehubo007,

I've been refraining from saying it.....but it couldn't happen to a nicer demographic grouping. For years, California, like a few other states, have been making life difficult (if not impossible) for E&P producers to provide at least a small percentage of their energy needs. Remember Chevron's palm-tree (artificial) island with the condominium derricks?

Not in my back yard. That concept originated in California.

I suppose they can take credit for being somewhere in leading edge territory when it comes to clean air technology. But the cost to auto producers to equip cars and trucks differently, the ultimate cost of reformulated gasoline, all of these things ultimately dilute any benefit they can claim, IMO.

Let'em walk, that's what I say. And let's see what practical measures they come up with, for a change, in the way of responsible consumption and production of energy.

Regards to all,

Aggie
