Yes, but 'who started it?' is always problematic isn't it? Each points the finger at the other. <I don't feel it appropriate to suggest that any American Presidential candidate would be willing to initiate global destruction. Such statements are counterproductive at best.>

Anyway, not Global Destruction. Just another nuclear war. There has already been one, don't forget, and the USA started the nuclear part of that conflict and won! A nuclear war doesn't mean everything gets blown up. Just a lot of stuff, plus our share prices. You don't think they are keeping all those nukes tuned up and ready to go just for fun do you? They really are planning on using them. They have got co-ordinates loaded, GPS primed, people in position, radar locked on, as you read this. It is all ready to go at a moment's notice.

Of course the Kursk isn't in business now, but there is a lot more besides.
