He also tends towards a middle-liberal view. Not only that, he probably doesn't want to single-handedly end the election, which he would (given the timeframe) if he were to order a stay. Even a Scalia probably wouldn't order a stay. I take that back. He knows the constitution and would probably do his utmost to end this travesty before it totally ruins the nation.
