Well, I wake to hear that there is a 2pm Sunday deadline. Perhaps, and only perhaps, we may be closer to finality when the markets open than when the markets closed on Friday and tanked. The NAZ was looking good. I have to say that i hang on to many of my democratic roots when it comes to social programs. But I hate the thought of a democratic justice dept.. I hate the thought of "W" appointing a single Supreme Court Justice. Cheney controls Bush and I am offended by many of his stands on social policies. Either way you look at it, this country got short-changed when it had only buffoons to chose from for president. All I can say is thank god for gridlock and a 50:50 (or 51:49) Senate. The only really bad things that will get done are a few Bush Supreme Court Justice appointments and/or Judicial activism by a Gore Justice Dept. It could be worse.
