this dude waited until the end of the day, some 6 hours later, to go see how he was. Maybe it is such a common occurrence nowadays that it didn't seem as pressing as getting the mail sorted. LIke the neat queues of muggers waiting their turns in LA Story. Ritualized crime. It actually makes a great deal of sense; it replaces the religious and family traditions that we've lost. I'm sure Campbell could have tied it in with some myth story. (HAd to bring up Campbell; I love the way you always foam at the mouth at the mention of his name)
