but any one with a shred of objectivity can see that Algore is the man most responsible for the electorama we are in. Bush would have conceded long ago were the situation reversed, and he would have been right to do so.


It takes two to have a real knock-down, drag-out fight. It would have been been much better if both camps could have negotiated a process. If the situation was reversed, the result would have been more orderly, but I don't think it's due to Bush's greater willingness to concede. Both men are sure they won the election. Rather, both camps would have agreed to a recount because Gore would have expected to gain from it and Bush would have had nothing to lose.
