david, A fair post from a reasoned person. I understand your points and most are valid. There is just one problem. Each and every state has rules. The rules said you recount under 1%. If there is machine error (the counting machine, not the ballot machine) then you can manual recount. This rule applies to both sides. Gore wants to change this rule to his benefit. Sorry, but your position does not hold water. 49 other states we can go to next. We will be finished by 2002. The rules must stand. If it had gone the other way, Bush would have done the right thing, and the media would have demanded and managed it. HAGO TH
