but will the 'count' get underway? bush has already asked the us. SC for an emergency stay. and i disagree that the reps. will not use their advantages in congress. if the democrats are united behind gore, the republicans are vehemently more so behind bush. the interviews they give are scathing in tone. there will be no willing concession. the public opinion, at least according to polls, gives high disapproval to fla. SC actions. should gore manage to prevail, the doubt that his election to office is legitimate will always be greater than if the situation were reversed. Edit: i apologize to LG and thread for political talk as it violates thread rules. i generally just like to keep up with this thread for general market direction -some pretty good posters here!
