The way I read the Constitution we get the president chosen by the House and the VP from among the top five vote getters for VP. In a split Senate, 50 Dems, 50 Reps, tie-breaker goes to President of Senate, i.e. Al Gore, so we could end up with Geo=pres, Joe=VP...now that IS worth a laugh, no matter what side ones takes in this battle of midgets. we deserve this exactly...no more, no less, IMO, for having such pathetic light weights for candidates. BOTH! Jim Black PS Who would dare say this won't happen? Who would have believed the joke would have gone so far? IMO neither party can claim the moral high ground. Both are equally guilty of clawing shamelessly for the last bite. Anyone who claims moral high ground(? HA!) for either party needs a hearing aid of a cataract operation. I offer this only because it is all hilarious (we can appreciate that because. thank whatever, there are no tanks in the streets) AND it is Saturday and nothing else is going on to occupy the fine minds on this thread.
